International Community Radio Taipei (ICRT) is operated by the Taipei International Community Cultural Foundation (TICCF), with offices and studios located at 2F, 373 Sung Jiang Road, Taipei.
ICRT is a radio which made by English pronunciation. Many people want to improve listen skill by listening ICRT. The type of program of ICRT can divide into two parts, news and music. On the part of time, the music programs are in the majority.
ICRT seems a radio which emphasizes vigorous. Every hour, every program, even the BBS NEWS is all alive; especially in the early hours, when other radio stations played the nocturnes, ICRT still play many pop, rock n rock music, and so on . It’s so different from others.
Furthermore, the advertisement hour is one of their important features. According to the survey of AC Neilsen, the groups of the audience of ICRT are most centered in people who own the university education background. Therefore, it will have influence in correlative knowledge industry.
Total Impact－This broadcast is from p.m. 10:00 to a.m. 1:00 during Monday to Friday. The content of the show is fullness, because it combines fashion matters, and attaches importance to the interaction between the audience and linkman. It is very cheery, nay, a little crazy.
Comparing to each radio stations in the same hour, their style is very diverse.
Another feature of the midnight show is like to have interaction that is in the inner side of audience, so the program will arrange some games, reading letters, playing songs, and call in with listeners. By these interactions, listeners feel the show makes the most of them; therefore, the show will become more popular than before.
I learned how to relax and give from this program. It is not easy for a person who is not usually listening to the radio to take so much time in interaction with the radio show. Although I don’t call out to the show, the cordiality and vigor of this program make me relax after a busy day. They make a sharing space which is no distance, not only the distance between heart and radio, but also between America and Taiwan. I am so impressiveness in bustling with noise and excitement show.
